Behind the scenes
We were behind the scenes to capture all the fun when Councillor Macmillan and Amanda McMillan, chief executive of AGS Airports Ltd and managing director of Glasgow Airport got behind Paisley's bid for UK City of Culture 2021 and they weren't the only ones.
Holiday-makers, staff and local artist Duncan Wilson were also keen to get in on the action and we were there to capture all the fun.
Artist Duncan Wilson created the interactive piece of artwork which features the internationally recognised Paisley Pattern in a 3D-effect known as a trompe l’oeil (trick of the eye).
He added: “The artwork uses the colours of the Paisley 2021 bid and is very crisp and colourful – people aren’t going to be able to walk past it…you can’t miss it!”
