Royal Scottish National Orchestra to 'take over' Paisley!

The Takeover is the Royal Scottish National Orchestra's ultimate work experience event...and this year, to celebrate the town's UK City of Culture 2021 bid, it's coming to Paisley!

What is it?

Royal Scottish National Orchestra to 'take over' Paisley!

The RSNO Paisley Takeover is a two-day intensive work experience event on 23 & 24 October.

Open to young people living in Renfrewshire aged 15-18 at the time of the event, this is a great opportunity for anyone interested in a career in the arts or creative industries - whether you play a musical instrument or not.

The two-day event will culminate in a public concert in Paisley Town Hall.

How many people can take part?

The RSNO will select 50 young people to work in various departments of the organisation.

There will be opportunities in arts marketing, press/PR, development (fundraising), learning and engagement, stage and orchestra management, conducting and performing as a musician.

When is it?

The event itself is on 23 & 24 October but if you would like to take part, you must complete and send an application form to us by 23 May (late applications may be considered if places are still available).

You must be able to spend two full days with the RSNO on 23 & 24 October.
