Paisley Food Festival line-up and food vendors confirmed

Back for another year after a successful debut last year...Paisley Food Festival once again brings you a day-long culinary carnival.

The headline attraction for this year's free-to-attend family event is celebrity chef Nick Nairn, who will be running two live cookery demos during the afternoon (booking required, see below for details).

Also performing live will be kids TV favourite Mr Bloom, while local musicians will also be playing on the stage throughout the day.

Visitors can enjoy street food from across the globe, with 30 food vendors there to create a taste sensation.

Other confirmed attractions include Paisley Farmers' Market, an arts and crafts fair, and a pop-up rum shack serving Caribbean cuisine to add a touch of carnival atmosphere, 

There are also kids workshops, featuring pizza-making (run by La Rambla), chocolate-making (with Lime Tree Larder) and cupcake decorating (run by Art  Mania).

These last 20 minutes and take place at the following times - noon, 12.30pm, 1pm, 2pm, 2.30pm, 3pm, 3.30pm, 4pm, 4.30pm, 5pm and 5.30pm.

Spaces are limited so please book in advance by email to towncentres@renfrewshire.gov.uk stating your name and which workshop and time you want to book in for.

Paisley Food Festival is run by Renfrewshire Council and is taking place alongside the 29th Paisley Beer Festival, run by Renfrewshire CAMRA.

Timetable is as follows:

Noon to 9pm - Live stage hosted by Pulse FM. Music from local musicians from Create, Loud 'n' Proud and Brick Lane Studios.

1pm Mr Bloom

Food Festival vendors

We have a wide range of vendors at the food festival, bringing you a varied menu of taste sensations from across the globe. They are:

Aye Love Real Food - award-winning artisan producer of scotch eggs, sausage rolls and other savoury treats.

Bowl Food - Heart-warming, belly-filling, wholesome, home-made food at affordable prices. Will be selling Scottish street food.

Boy Meats Grill - A gourmet mac and cheese Stall, the only one in Scotland. Uses Scottish produce where possible: Marshalls Macaroni, Macsweens Haggis, Ayrshire cheddar and bacon.

Chipstix - Chipstix, hotdog chipstix, speciality hot dogs, sweet potato chips, giant onion rings, waffles, tea, coffee, soft drinks.

Cocoa Tree Shop - speciality hot chocolates served from a dispenser / light Brussels waffles served with chocolate sauce or strawberries and cream / hot chocolates in retail pkts / gluten-free dark chocolate brownies.

Caledonia Pie Guy - a selection of sweet and savoury pies and sausage rolls

Everything Chilli - handmade spicy jams, relishes, marmalades and seasoning to give your meals and snacks a tasty chilli twist. Chilli chocolate and brand new chilli rock.

Exotic African Treats - the home of African-inspired food and drinks. Will be selling African sauces, chutneys and snacks.

Funky Fudge - handmade Scottish fudge, tablet and macaroon.

Good Life Farming - welfare-friendly rose veal, tasters, hot food to go - burgers, wraps.

It's All Food - Pasta - our menu is wide-ranging but - no matter the cuisine - fast, innovative and tasty. Will be selling - pasta and piadas.

Les Plaisirs D'Odette - French patiseries, macarons, confectionary, salted caramel, chocolate sauce, pates, spreads and relishes.

Lov Burger - deluxe veggie burgers, hand-pressed Perthshire beef burgers, Scottish venison and lamb. Served up with Perthshire potato and sweet potato wedges.

Mighty Mexican - brings to Scotland the taste of Mexico with fresh and flavourful meals. Will be selling burritos, tacos and more.

Newsrack - halal hotdogs, pakora and snow cones.

Ovenbird Coffee Roasters - speciality coffee drinks and coffee beans.

Poporopo - our giant popcorn kernels combined with the finest quality ingredients will give your taste buds the best experience.

Ranjit's Kitchen - authentic 100% vegetarian Panjabi food. Handmade samosas, rotis, paranthas, vegetable curry and maybe some rice. 

Scotland's Gourmet Kitchen - gourmet burgers, venison, haggis, stovies, homemade soups and Scottish street food.

Scozzese Pizza - premium-quality wood-fired pizzas, served from our mobile stone-bake oven.

Sugar and Spice - fruit liqueurs (sampling and selling), gin, whisky, rum and vodka as well as homemade tablet and coconut macaroon in gift boxes and bags.

Tango Ice Blast - carbonated crystallised frozen drink.

Ta Ta Bella's - homemade cakes, hot drinks, homemade jams, chutneys and various other foodstuffs in jars.

The Damn Fine Cheese Company - handmade flavoured cheese truckles, chutney and oatcakes

The Rest of the World Pasty Company - internationally-influenced pasties.

The Rollin Pig - pulled pork hog roast rolls with haggis and black pudding stuffings and apple/BBQ sauce.

The Rum Shack - Glasgow's first Caribbean bar and canteen, dedicated to serving the best authentic Caribbean dishes.

The Smoked Game Company - Scottish smoked game products - venison, quail, pheasant and duck. Sold vacuum packed to take home to cook. Freshly cooked on the stall for a top quality snack.

Three Sisters Bake - three sisters who love food. Selling gourmet hotdogs, cakes, traybakes, hot and cold drinks.

Threepwood Fayre - traditional handmade Scottish confectionary, chocolate fountain, kids' treats, clootie dumplings, sweet balsamic dressings, exclusive range of gourmet hot dogs and Inverloch cheese.

Tot Nosh - hosting cookery classes for little chefs in Paisley. Showcasing great food made at their classes. 

West Coast Coffee - fresh ground coffee, hot fresh doughnuts, cream doughnuts, speciality teas, jam doughnuts and speciality hot chocolate
