Frightened Rabbit and RSNO wow crowd at Paisley Abbey

Frightened Rabbit wowed the crowd in the spectacular surroundings of Paisley Abbey last night (Tuesday 17 October) with a unique collaboration with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.

The Scots rockers teamed up with the orchestra for the one off show as part of Paisley’s national Spree Festival and treated fans to special renditions of old favourites and some rarely heard songs.

Singer Scott Hutchison led heartfelt classics Poke, Good Arms vs Bad Arms and Floating in the Forth which were greeted by roars from the packed Abbey crowd.

Finishing with fan favourite Keep Yourself Warm, both band and orchestra gathered together to receive a standing ovation – marking the end of another special night at the Spree Festival.

The show was the first of three Paisley Abbey concerts this week, with Paolo Nutini’s sold out homecoming gig on Friday and James Grant’s celebration of Paisley’s untold story on Saturday.
