20 amazing pictures of Paisley on World Photography Day

Grab your cameras because Saturday 19 August is World Photography Day!

Paisley town centre is home to the highest concentration of listed buildings of anywhere in Scotland outside of Edinburgh and offers the perfect chance to capture some breathtaking architecture.

From skyline-dominating churches to towering tenements decorated with intricate details there are so many locations that catch the eye, each with its own unique story to tell.

The town's popular events calendar, which includes the annual Fireworks Spectacular and Halloween festival, also offers a host of opportunities to enjoy stunning sights all-year round.

To celebrate World Photography Day, we've pulled together a small selection of spectacular photographs taken around Paisley. Why don't you come and see the rest of the sights for yourself?
