Paisley is a cultural town, and our cultural journey continues …
Renfrewshire Council’s Culture, Events and Heritage Fund is available for artists, organisations and communities to shine a light on Paisley and create long-lasting cultural, economic and social change. The fund will stay in place post-competition as one of the key legacies of the bid.
As a truly cultural place, we want successful projects to bring international attention to Paisley, attract tourism, generate footfall for our town centres and change perceptions of the area, while also harnessing the power of culture to make people’s lives better throughout Renfrewshire. We particularly seek projects that engage and involve our local community, showcases the area’s assets and the talent of its people.
You can submit an application for the next round of funding now. The application deadlines for 2018 are as follows:
- 10 May
- 10 October
- 10 December
What sort of projects will we support?
Successful proposals will demonstrate that they can strengthen cultural activity in neighbourhoods and town centres across Renfrewshire, enhance the annual cultural calendar in Renfrewshire, and showcase the talent of Renfrewshire, not just locally but in other parts of the UK.
